Today my father was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment, found guilty of 13 counts of varying degrees of sexual abuse towards children from 2 (myself) right up to 15. It has been 3 years since I first had my flashbacks and went to the police, and I am so fucking INDESCRIBABLY HAPPY right now. You never know that the black cloud is there until it's lifted.

I thank :iconhanratty-stock: :iconlindowyn: :iconlyastri: :iconladytwiglet: :icontexturemattic: and :iconayelie: for supporting me this past year - you guys have no idea how much I love you.

Tomorrow I shall get my ring engraved with "Vici" - I conquered. I was going to get "we conquered" but the latin equivalent was horrible.
