So it appears that I have some kind of god of art jobs smiling down on me. Last week the wonderful Jay Stansfield got in touch and asked me to do a live illustration while his band were playing at The Acoustic Village at Clitheroe Grand on Saturday night. I said yes, then phoned kangel to plot.
For some reason when he asked me what I was going to draw, I said tentacles. I blame Japan. Kelly and I put together a rough plan of what we wanted to do and, feeling sick and excited, barged through match day traffic and trundled to Clitheroe.
First thing I said to Jay: "My, haven't you got lovely hair." *touches hair* He didn't back away, he is a man with nerves of STEEL. When I was distributing postcards later on, and his mother introduced herself to me I said: "He is wonderful. He has lovely facial hair." So. Yes. You think I'm just a crazy on the internet - NOT SO! This is further proof I am indeed a nutjob all of the time, everyone I met at the birthday devMEET would tell you the same thing

We had SO much fun doing this we're hoping to do it again really soon - we'll see what happens
